As psychotherapists, we are trained to treat the whole person. Addictions and mental health issues do not come out of nowhere, so it is important to gain an understanding of all aspects of a person’s life and experience. We believe in long-term recovery, which is why our focus is on treating and healing root causes - not just the symptoms.

The Very Best You

Whether you are struggling with addiction, stress, chronic pain, or depression, we can help. Although these four issues may seem separate, there is a lot of overlap and chances are that if you are experiencing one of these issues, you are experiencing at least two others, where they feed off of each other.

Our holistic approach takes into account your life as a whole. We believe in long-term recovery, so we aim to treat and heal root causes rather than symptoms alone. We also help to create sustainable and supportive structures in your life you can lean on during hard times.

We draw from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy to assess and explore how your thinking, assumptions, and beliefs inform your mood and behaviours. We also draw from Psychodynamic Therapy to explore your past, relationships, and any defence mechanisms that you have adopted over the years. Lastly, specific to chronic pain, we draw from Pain Reprocessing Therapy to change your understanding of, relationship with and experience of pain.

Addiction, stress, chronic pain, and depression are all sources of a lot of suffering for the individual and the surrounding family and friends. You may often feel helpless and out of control in these situations. We are here to support you and help you reclaim your life.
